Could Chiropractic Adjustments Make My Spine Too Loose?

Regular chiropractic adjustments loosen the spine but can dispel this fallacy if we concentrate on the aim of the chiropractic adjustment. So let’s start with the procedure of the adjustment to get a better understanding of its aim.

Chiropractors find and repair vertebral subluxation, or misalignment of the spine, which has the following characteristics:

  • Misalignment about the joint, either above or below the joint
  • Segmental range of motion loss
  • Impairment with the surrounding nerve tissue due to neurological interference

A vertebral subluxation can impinge on the nerve tissue around the spine, disrupting normal neurological function. Vertebral subluxation, if left untreated, can compromise normal physiological processes, including joint function.

Proper alignment, mobility, and preservation of the fragile neurological system will achieve when subluxation does rectify and the adjustment does facilitate.

How do chiropractic adjustments work?

A chiropractic adjustment aims to move the joint from an adverse functional condition to a positive functional one. Moving from a negative to a positive state implies that the change should benefit the individual’s overall well-being.

The chiropractic myth that regular chiropractic care will release your spine is just untrue.

According to Chiropractic Reality, regular chiropractic care focuses solely on the spinal joints in a condition of dysfunction and lack of movement.

The joints do restore to their proper function and mobility after chiropractic adjustments. However, adjustments to the spine’s function stabilize rather than relax it.

The vertebrae that have misaligned features can shift in the direction of normal alignment, range of motion, and protection of the neurological tissue. They do so with the repetition of chiropractic adjustments on vertebral subluxation.

Benefits of the adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments not only provide an opportunity for a better outcome in the vertebrae, but they also become fewer with time. So again, it is due to the chiropractic care habit you’ve developed. It influences the health of your spinal joints and neurological system.

Chiropractic adjustment can help remove interruption in the mental signals that pass from your brain to the rest of your body or from the body to the brain. The spinal cord and the neurological system are the conduits for all of your brain-body communication.

Chiropractic care focuses on the integrity of the spine’s 24 spinal joints. These joints are responsible for housing and protecting the brain’s crucial neurological connection.

When vertebral subluxation causes dysfunction (misalignment and inappropriate motion) in the spine, communication between the brain and the body is compromised.

It can lead to less-than-optimal neurological function, obstructing the body’s natural healing abilities.

Chiropractic care focuses on the relationship between structure and function coordinated by the neurological system. It restores the proper relationship within the joint and surrounding tissue, enhancing the body’s natural recuperative power to heal itself.

Regular visits to your chiropractor will help to preserve your body’s intrinsic potential at its peak!

Is It Possible For Your Spine To Become Too Loose Following An Adjustment? After a chiropractic adjustment, patients do not need to be concerned about their spines being overly flexible. Only the joints that are considered immovable or locked will adjust during a chiropractic adjustment.
